Women from the Red Flower Hmong ethnic minority group of northern Vietnam hand-embroider intricate Hmong motifs on their own handwoven hemp fabric. The colorful bands of cross stitch embroidery are used to adorn their traditional hemp pleated skirts. We purchase these vibrant textiles directly from Hmong women, assuring that they receive a fair price for their work. We repurpose their exquisite embroidery designs into one-of-a-kind bags and pillows.
